Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions I hear most.
Do I have to pay for your help?
Call or send a message and I’ll explain how my services work, and whether there is any cost to you, before you decide anything.
Can I keep my doctor?
Often yes, but it depends on the plan’s network. I’ll check that your doctors and hospitals are included before you enroll.
Will my prescriptions be covered?
Each plan has its own list of covered drugs. I’ll look up your medications so you know what to expect before you choose.
What if I want to change plans later?
There are set times of year when you can switch, plus special situations that allow changes. I can explain which one applies to you.
Do I still need Medicare Part B?
Yes. To join a Medicare Advantage plan you must have Parts A and B, and you generally keep paying your Part B premium.
Can I get Medicare before age 65?
Sometimes. If you receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, you generally become eligible after 24 months. Some other conditions can also qualify. I can help you check your situation.
What does Medicare Advantage cost?
Costs vary by plan and area, and may include a monthly premium, copays and deductibles. We’ll compare what you’d pay for the care you use.
Can I get help after I enroll?
Yes. I’m here year-round for questions about your plan, claims or benefits.

Still have questions?
Call or send a message and I’ll answer them in plain language.
